Boxes.
I have produced wooden boxes with a
wide variety of uses: to store blankets, to hold writing materials, for
jewels, even to carry communion vessels for a clergyman - and often
purely as decorative pieces.
I use the endless possibilities of gesso, water gilding, lacquer and
paint, often including areas of trompe l'oeil lapis lazuli or malachite.
